Jamaican Country Style Mild Boston Jerk Seasoning Mild Hot & Spicy.
Jerk is a popular method of barbecuing well-sesoned pork, chicken, beef or fish.
It can be traced to the Commantee hunters of preslavery West Africa. They would roast pork over hot coals in earthen pits that were covered with patas, strands made of green pimento or other green tree branches. In Boxton Beach (an area in Northeastern Jamaica) today, the jerk pork is famous.
