The original family recipe is still used to make Bartons Piccalilli. It is a unique combination of a special smooth, glossy mustard and turmeric sauce combined with freshly chopped onions and cauliflower florets. It tastes delicious!
The founder of Bartons, Edmund Barton first developed our current Piccalilli recipe in 1905. It's great taste and popularity is a testament to its longevity. Piccalilli is perfect with cheese, meats, sandwiches and rolls. It also makes a great accompaniment to ploughman's lunches. Try it with crackers as a healthy low fat snack. 2012 FEB 28
