Darjeeling Poobong White White teas are made by only steaming and drying the leaf. When this method is applied to a Darjeeling, the result is the subtle flavour of a traditional white tea with the floweriness and distinctive character of a Darjeeling. Only one lot of this truly amazing tea was produced by the reputable Poobong Estate. Before the infusion this rare, entirely handmade tea has the colour spectrum of autumn leaves. The light-bodied liquor has a beautiful light amber color. A must try for all white tea lovers.
Recommendations: Use 3 grams (ca. 2 heaping soup spoons) per 6 oz. cup; heat fr until it is steaming (170 - 180ยบ F); let steep for 2.5 to 3 min.
