Finnska licorice uses authentic licorice root extract to get its wonderful licorice flavour and soft texture. The ingredients are cooked for several hours and the greenish-coloured licorice is then extruded, heated and cooled several times before it is cut and packaged. This heating and cooling process causes the licorice to turn to its black, outer colour. Its texture and flavor will take you back to yesteryear.
